Children's Tree Planting Festival

Join us for a special morning of tree planting, connecting children to nature and giving back to the Boorloo boodja (Perth land) that sustains our families. Throughout the morning families will plant trees together, enjoy stories, and singing, participate in nature craft, circus activities and delight in face painting, music, morning tea and lunch.
This beautiful community event is a collaboration between volunteers (adults and children) from Activate Tree Planting, and the City of South Perth. It is a project that has come out of Grandma Rosie’s Storytime sessions.
As a community driven event we’d appreciate if you could;
- Please register here so we know we will have enough people to get the trees in. Your ticket gains you immediate family access to all the events of the day – music, live performance, arts and crafts, face painting and a savoury morning tea and lunch (soup and bread). We want to look after you so you can help us plant lots of trees!
- There will be a fundraising cake stall on the day. All proceeds going back to activate – to help us host more events and plant more trees.
- Please note down your children’s favourite songs when registering so we can have a playlist generated by the children on the day.
- Please arrive promptly for 9 am on the day, so we can get as many trees in the ground and you and your family have plenty of time to enjoy all the activities.
