Activate Seedlings' Annual Children's Planting

17th May, South Perth Metro

A beautiful morning for the whole family planting seedlings, regenerating our urban surroundings. This is a jam packed fun morning where kids can engage with free activities including arts and craft, music, circus performers, stalls, free face painting and lunch provided. All whilst planting trees and helping Mother Earth.

Activate Wagin

May 29 – June 1 2026 (long weekend)

Get ready for a long weekend of connection, workshops, live music, camping, and the heartwarming act of planting 40 000 native seedlings!

Located close to the townsite of Wagin, this 60 hectare property sits on the edge of a network of salt lakes that make up the Blackwood River Catchment. Here, like many parts of the Wheatbelt, the floodplain between Gundaring Lake Nature Reserve and Parkeyerring Nature Reserve is becoming increasingly degraded due to historic clearing, poor land management and increasing salinity.

Activate Esperance

July 3 — 5, 2026

Join us in blessing our hands with the touch of soil as we restore the diverse swamp yate woodlands and Kwongkan shrublands that together form ribbons of habitat that ensure the perseverance and survival of threatened fauna and flora in a healing landscape! We will be planting in the Dalyup region, strategically protecting the Dalyup river from sediments and salts running off farmland that accumulate in the internationally recognised wetland, Lake Gore. This event runs from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th July and will be filled with trees to plant, nourishing food, funky beats and spending time deepening the bonds with the Esperance community.

Activate Nomans Lake

July 10 –13, 2026

Join us during the school holidays, at Nomans Lake as we continue our mission to breathe life back into the land by planting 20,000 seedlings into salt affected paddocks. These beautiful trees and shrubs will transform this damaged land into a healthy forest that will increase biodiversity, provide habitat for wildlife, capture carbon from the atmosphere and reduce the impact of salinity on the surrounding landscape.

This will be a wonderful weekend of tree planting, music, dancing, tasty food and connection.
