Activate Great Southern
Hey there!
Activate is spreading its roots towards the tall trees of the south to join in with the incredible restoration efforts occurring throughout the Great Southern Region.
The second Great Southern planting took place in Takalarup, just east of the Porongorup Range, at Rocky’s Retreat – the beautiful home of Kaysanne and Clayton. They have been undertaking small scale reveg onsite each Winter and it was awesome to join them this year! Watch the slideshow of the 2024 Takalarup planting below.
For our first tree planting festival in 2023, Activate Great Southern teamed up with Goodies Farm and Wide Open Agriculture to plant 10,000 seedlings. It was a small and private event, to test the ropes.
Goodies Farm is a beautiful property nestled beneath Koikyennuruff (Stirling Ranges) north-east of Mt Barker.
