Activate Tree Planting has been SUPERSIZED! 👐 😲 🌳🌳
Are you ready to set a record?
Introducing a WHOPPER of an event for so many reasons. Oh my, we are excited. 🥳 😁
You are invited Balladong Noongar Boodja to be part of our THREE days tree planting festival where you will join us in planting more than DOUBLE the number of our previous biggest event – that’s a record smashing 126,000 native seedlings!
But it certainly won’t be all work and no play. We have an incredible weekend of dancing, workshops, connection, games, nature walks, live music, camping, great food, art and ALL the things that make Activate so special!
And just wait until you see this magical planting site! Chelsea McDonald and her family have invited us to stay right there on their property so you will be dining, dancing and camping right beside the rows of precious native seedlings you will have just planted. ⛺️ 🌠 🧘♂️ 🪘
This, our biggest ever event, has only been made possible with incredibly generous support from our planting partner Trillion Trees Australia. They have funded a massive 100,000 seedlings to completely transform the property.
The unstoppable Julian, Ecological Restoration Coordinator from Trillion Trees Australia, has managed to put together an unbelievable 53 different native species to be planted – talk about biodiverse!
🙏👏 🌳 🦎🦉
Trillion Trees Australia has an unbelievable 43 year history of planting trees and restoring land in WA. Check out their website to see how they have planted more than 15 million native trees & understory to improve biodiversity, combat salinity and soil erosion. https://trilliontrees.org.au

The McDonald’s 65 hectare property is going to be virtually completely covered in green! It was once used for grazing however since being in care of the McDonalds they have been restoring and revegetating it as much as they could.
A slice of ancient remnant bushland has been preserved on the property and you will be helping to massively expand that important habitat.
Chelsea has told of the variety of native species that have been spotted in the bushland, including one recently identified and very rare little critter, so we are even more overjoyed to be aiding with her restoration vision.

You can be sure that our famous farm-field mobile DJs will be back! Bringing the high-vibe tunes to elevate your day of planting and keep you grooving while you restore the land.

Evenings at HQ will be a treat for your ears – funky live bands, pumping DJs, talented vocalists, jam sessions and camp-fire sing-alongs galore! Saturday evening is THE party night with two dedicated stages and dancefloors so be sure to pack your favourite onesie and most sparkly outfit!

They will be nourishing us all with freshly made, almost entirely organic, healthy, and delicious meals made with care and love. The absolute best way to end a day of planting together is to gather for a wholesome communal meal together.
